Advancing Pharmacy Education & Professional Collaboration

HISTORY

For a number of years, a group of Arab American pharmacy educators started to gather socially at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Annual Meeting. In 2017, the group decided to formalize professional efforts among them and a business meeting was held in conjunction with the 2018 AACP Annual Meeting. Since then, the group worked on and voted on identity, mission and core values. A strategic plan with five strategic priorities were also approved at the business meeting in 2019. Currently, the group is working on finalizing the bylaws, obtaining a non-profit status and addressing the identified strategic priorities.
